Privacy Policy
LA Painting Co. Effective date: November 2, 2026
LA Painting Co. ("we", "us") is a painting company in Vaughan, Ontario. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you ask us for a quote or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
What we collect
Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and, if you're a business, your company name.
Project details: the address of the property, the type and size of the project, your budget range, when you'd like the work or quote, photos you send us, and anything else you tell us about the job.
Messages: texts, emails and notes from calls between you and our team.
Where you found us: for example, which ad, campaign or form you used. Facebook and Instagram may share this with us when you use their lead forms.
Your permission to contact you: whether you agreed to receive texts and emails, when, and the wording you agreed to.
Our website, hosted by Wix, and our advertising partners may also use cookies and similar technology. See “Advertising” below.

We send automated texts and emails only if you agreed to receive them. Every message tells you how to stop.
Texts and automated replies
If you agree to texts, we may send messages about your quote, including reminders and follow-ups. Some replies may be written by an automated assistant that asks about your project so we can prepare for our call. A person on our team reviews these conversations and can take over at any time. Message and data rates may apply.
Your choices
Stop texts: reply STOP to any text.
Stop emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email.
Withdraw consent, or ask us to delete your information: contact us (details below). We'll stop marketing messages promptly, and within 10 business days at the latest, as CASL requires.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed:
Hosting and database: our customer records are stored with Supabase, in Canada, and our software runs on Vercel.
Texts and email: Twilio, which sends our text messages, and Resend, which sends our email.
Automated replies: Anthropic, which provides the AI that helps answer texts.
Advertising: Meta (Facebook and Instagram), when you use their lead forms. We may also tell Meta whether a lead from its ads went on to book a project, so our ads reach people who are a good fit. Contact details sent for this are scrambled (hashed) first.
Professional advisers and authorities: when required by law.
Some of these providers are in the United States or elsewhere outside Canada, so your information may be processed there and be subject to those countries' laws. We choose providers that protect information to a standard comparable to ours.
Advertising and cookies: Our website and Meta's tools may use cookies or similar technology to measure ad results and show you relevant ads. You can control ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings and block cookies in your browser.
How long we keep it: We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide quotes and services, to follow up on past quotes, and for warranty, tax and legal purposes. Usually that's up to 7 years after our last contact. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.
How we protect it: Only our team members who need your information can see it, and each person has their own secure login. Our systems use encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Seeing or correcting your information: You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we must keep it by law. Contact us and we'll respond within 30 days.
